Warehouse Manager Job Purpose Warehouse associates are an integral part of Fustini's Oils & Vinegars. Warehouse staff play a crucial role in our supply chain operations, ensuring that products are received, stored, and shipped efficiently. Seasonal staff assist our fulfillment team in peak seasons to ensure additional support is provided during high capacity months. They are integral to the success of production during these high volume times. Job Duties and Responsibilities Safely operate and monitor automated and hand-controlled filling equipment to dispense precise volumes of liquid into bottles while conducting regular quality checks for defects and fill accuracy Responsible for carefully packing products into various containers and boxes, ensuring they are sealed and labeled correctly for online shipments Assist in building store pallets every week to be shipped to our four brick and mortar stores and other sales channels Ensuring oil, vinegar, pantry and accessories line is well stocked and following FIFO standards Assist in general upkeep of warehouse facility, including cleaning and daily Standard Operating Procedures Attend weekly Warehouse meetings and other team meetings as they arise Maintain a clean and sanitary work station to meet MDARD requirements, and a clean, hazard-free, and organized warehouse environment daily Adhere to all Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations and company protocols Perform routine inspections on warehouse machinery and report maintenance needs Maintain a good attitude, professional communication and conduct, and be a team player Safely operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts (if certified) Maintain accurate inventory records and logs in collaboration with team Education Preferred High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience Preferred Minimum 1 year Warehouse Experience in Specialty Food or Beverage Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Product Handling and Packaging Knowledge of safe and proper packaging, labeling, and storage methods, including handling of fragile, hazardous, or perishable goods Regulatory Compliance Understanding of applicable regulations including but not limited to OSHA and Food Safety Requirements Documentation and Recordkeeping Ability to maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory records both digitally and physically
Working Conditions Physical Requirements:
Unload pallets and transport products as often as needed, be able to stand for long periods. Able to lift 50 lbs frequently.
Availability:
Flexibility to work occasional weekends, holidays and early evenings.
Environmental/Physical Exposure:
Regularly works with EPA-registered disinfectants, sanitizers and cleaning agents.
