The Material Handler is expected to move the plant's raw material and finished goods from receipt through shipment. The Material Handler plays a key role in maintaining the housekeeping of the plant and is primarily responsible for the housekeeping of the warehouse.What You'll Be Doing:
- Moves finished goods from production area to appropriate warehouse location. Staging area is cleared at the end of Material Handler's shift.
- Supplies manufacturing with required raw materials. This is done in anticipatory fashion to prevent interruption of production due to lack of materials.
- Returns materials from completed runs back to warehouse.
- Follows procedures for returning completed jobs to ensure proper counts are in the warehouse.
- Performs cycle counts when needed.
- Helps in reclaiming inserts.
- Maintains warehouse housekeeping through daily attention. What makes you a great fit:
