Job Description
Pohaki is a fourth-generation, family-owned home improvement and appliance retailer, and we're growing. We're looking for a reliable, hardworking Yard & Warehouse Associate to join our small team. This is a hands-on role with plenty of on-the-job variety. What You'll Do Load, unload, and move materials in the yard and warehouse Operate a forklift to move inventory Operate saws to cut materials to size for customer orders Receive vendor deliveries and verify shipments against purchase orders and internal records Check inventory into the computer system Drive a company pickup truck for small local deliveries Assist with appliance deliveries and installations in customer homes as needed Help keep the yard organized and safe Assist customers and contractors picking up orders What We're Looking For Valid driver's license and a clean driving record Comfortable learning to operate a forklift (we'll certify you, no experience required) Able to lift and move heavy materials Comfortable with basic computer data entry Detail oriented Full time, including a rotating Saturday schedule Reliable, on time, and ready to work outside in all seasons Experience not required, on the job training available Willingness to learn our systems and processes What to Expect in Hiring This position is designated as a safety-sensitive position. Following a conditional offer of employment, candidates are eligible for and required to undergo drug and alcohol testing (including cannabis testing), a background check, and a motor vehicle record check, consistent with the state laws.
