Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Specialist to support our warehouse operations, with a primary focus on receiving incoming materials, verifying shipments, entering inventory, and accurately storing products . The ideal candidate has previous experience in shipping and receiving, warehouse operations, inventory control, or material handling. This position requires strong attention to detail, basic computer skills, and the ability to identify shipment discrepancies before materials are placed into inventory. What You'll Do Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy, damage, and missing materials. Compare received products against purchase orders, packing slips, and shipping documents. Enter received materials into an ERP or inventory management system. Immediately report damaged, missing, lost, or incorrect materials. Label products and place received goods in the correct warehouse, rack, or bin location. Maintain accurate inventory locations and organized receiving areas. Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory. Replenish designated stocking locations as needed. Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for pickup, delivery, or shipment. Create packing lists and process shipments through UPS, FedEx, and LTL freight carriers. Stage local shipments for deliveries and expedited "hot shot" orders. Provide parts and materials for daily production orders. Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment as trained and authorized. Assist customers with order pickups. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. What We're Looking For At least 2 years of shipping and receiving, warehouse, inventory, material handling, or related production experience. Previous experience receiving inbound freight and verifying shipment accuracy. High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Basic computer skills, including email, internet, and Microsoft Office. Experience using an ERP, warehouse management, or inventory system; P21 experience is a plus. Ability to create packing lists and accurately record inventory transactions. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to count, measure, and record inventory accurately. Basic math skills using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. Ability to work independently and prioritize daily assignments. Professional communication skills when working with customers, drivers, and team members. Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation. Must be at least 21 years old. Preferred Experience Shipping and receiving experience in an industrial, manufacturing, distribution, or production environment. Experience receiving UPS, FedEx, and LTL freight shipments. Forklift or pallet jack experience. ERP or P21 inventory system experience. Experience identifying shipment discrepancies and maintaining bin-location accuracy. Why Join LGG Industrial?
