Phillips Contracting is looking for motivated General Laborers to join our team. This position involves performing a variety of physical tasks, including using power and hand tools, assisting with construction projects, and ensuring job sites remain safe and efficient. No prior experience is required, but a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are essential. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform general labor tasks, including site preparation, material handling, and cleanup Operate basic hand and power tools as needed Work efficiently to meet production goals set by the Foreman, Superintendent, or Production Manager Follow safety policies and procedures, ensuring a safe work environment for all crew members Participate in job-site safety meetings and company training programs Assist with setting up and tearing down equipment as needed Maintain and inspect tools, equipment, and job-site cleanliness Communicate effectively with operators, truck drivers, and other laborers to coordinate tasks Follow instructions from supervisors regarding the daily work schedule and production activities Load, unload, and move materials safely on-site Ensure traffic control and safety measures are in place before starting work Perform all other duties as assigned Experience & Qualifications Must have valid drivers license with a clean driving record High school diploma or GED preferred Six months to one year of related experience is preferred but not required Must be at least 18 years old Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions Valid driver's license preferred; must have a clean motor-vehicle record if operating a company vehicle Must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening and background check Willingness to travel to different job sites as needed, including overnight stays if required Phillips Contracting is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
