Job Description
Material Handler / Panel Assembly 1st and 3rd
Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to move materials and equipment.
Build and assemble shipping crates, including custom crates.
Pull materials and components for production and shipment.
Prepare, shrink-wrap, and package large equipment for shipping.
Assist with loading units and crates onto trucks.
Assist with building and assembling panels as needed.
Operate power tools, saws, drills, and other equipment.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Work outside when needed.
Valid driver's license required.
Previous forklift experience required.
Overhead crane experience preferred.
Mechanically inclined with good attention to detail.
Blueprint reading experience is a plus.
Comfortable using hand and power tools.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Able to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift.
Comfortable climbing ladders and using fall protection equipment when needed.
ShiftJob Description:
We are looking for dependable, mechanically inclined individuals to assist with material handling, shipping preparation, and panel assembly for large industrial air conditioning and air handling units. This hands-on position involves moving materials, operating forklifts, preparing equipment for shipment, building crates, and assisting with panel assembly.Job Duties:
Move and organize materials, panels, extrusions, and various parts.Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to move materials and equipment.
Build and assemble shipping crates, including custom crates.
Pull materials and components for production and shipment.
Prepare, shrink-wrap, and package large equipment for shipping.
Assist with loading units and crates onto trucks.
Assist with building and assembling panels as needed.
Operate power tools, saws, drills, and other equipment.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Work outside when needed.
Requirements:
MUST be able to accurately read a tape measure down to 1/16-inch increments. This is a critical requirement.Valid driver's license required.
Previous forklift experience required.
Overhead crane experience preferred.
Mechanically inclined with good attention to detail.
Blueprint reading experience is a plus.
Comfortable using hand and power tools.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
