Machine Operator/Material Handler - Day Shift Mon to Fri - 6:00 am to 2:30 pm Monteferro America manufactures and distributes Elevator Guide Rails, Components and cut Solar beams from our North American Facilities. Monteferro offers in-house fabrication and supplies to streamline manufacturing for a wide range of industries. We are seeking Machine Operators/Material Handlers for our new facility in Euclid, Ohio. The Machine Operator/Material Handler will be responsible for completing tasks within different areas of the production floor. Must be able to learn how to operate a forklift and accurately use a measuring tape. This position is for Day Shift Mon to Fri 6:00 am to 2:30 pm.

Requirements:

Delivery of materials to the production floor Ability to operate a forklift Basic understanding of parts drawings Basic machining expereince Ability to use the computers of the floor. Be able to follow work instructions and standard work procedures Prepares documentation as required. Maintains a clean and safe work area 5s. Understands department workflow, process and detailed oriented Excellent communication with co-workers verbally and writing skills Verifying the accuracy of quantity and quality of incoming deliveries Appropriate Labeling of product and placing them accordingly Identify and locate the right products for processing Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment, (PPE) Keeping a well-maintained and updated account of stock and inventory Keeping Material Handling Equipment in the best condition and conducting daily maintenance Check-sheets Safe Operation of Forklift Ability to accurately use a measuring tape Assist with shipping

Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications:

Strong mathematical and organizational skills. Experience operating a forklift Ability to read parts drawings Basic machining experience Some basic knowledge of logistics Good punctuality and attendance. Mature attitude. Pride in work. Ability to multitask and remain flexible. Attention to detail - Quality and organization are of the utmost importance. Must work well in a team environment and maintain good communication skills. Must have own transportation Starting wage: $17.50/hour + $1.00/hour attendance bonus (80 hours every 2 weeks)
