We have an exciting opportunity for a Full-Time Warehouse Associate to join our team and help grow our business! The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks relative to receiving, storing, shipping, picking, packing, distributing and maintaining inventory control of goods and materials in the warehouse. Role Overview We are a tight-knit, warehouse team looking for a dependable, adaptable team member. Because we operate as a small unit, we rely on a unique "specialize and support" model. While you will take primary ownership over a specific set of warehouse functions, everyone on the team is cross-trained. You'll master your specialized domain, but you will also jump in to help colleagues with cycle counts, high-volume kitting, or covering for each other to keep daily operations running smoothly. Core Responsibilities (Shared by the Whole Team)
Order Picking:
Accurately locate and retrieve items from inventory for daily orders.
Cycle Counting:
Participate in routine inventory audits to maintain accurate stock levels.
Kitting Support:
Pitch in to assist our Kitting Specialist in assembling product bundles and kits when order volume is high.
General Housekeeping:
Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe daily (sweeping, breaking down boxes, clearing walkways). Specialized Areas of Focus Depending on team needs and your strengths, you will specialize in one of the following areas while being cross-trained to provide backup in the others:
Packing & Returns:
Safely pack and secure products for damage-free delivery, process incoming customer returns, and manage the put-away of received goods into designated inventory locations.
Shipping & Logistics:
Process daily parcel shipping labels, stage outgoing orders, manage all LTL (Less Than Truckload) freight paperwork, and handle internal SKU transfers.
Receiving & Inventory Control:
Unload incoming shipments, inspect goods for damage, verify accuracy against packing slips, and take the lead on managing cycle count recounts and discrepancy resolutions.
Kitting:
Manage kit requests to ensure accurate creation and shipment, to include receipt, SKU maintenance, counts and order processing. The Person The successful candidate will be dependable and able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where productivity is tracked and multi-tasking is a necessity. She/he will be able to interpret customer orders, be familiar with proper packaging methods, and be familiar with the most common material handling equipment, such as a dolly and/or pallet jack. Physical Demands and the Work Environment She/he must possess the ability to lift up to 50 pounds; to stand and walk for most of the workday; and to perform repetitive movements including, but not limited to, bending, stooping, twisting, and reaching. The environment is typically comfortable but with regular exposure to factors such as temperature extremes. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent plus at least 1 year of warehouse experience. Ability to interpret customer orders. Must be familiar with proper packaging methods. Must be familiar with the most common material handling equipment such as a dolly and/or pallet jack. Must be able to work in fast paced environment where productivity is tracked and multi-tasking is a necessity. Great attention to detail. Basic computer and keyboarding skills highly desired.
