Material Handler Job Summary:

Responsible for safely operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move, load, unload, stage, and organize products and materials throughout a logistics and warehouse facility. This position requires attention to safety, accuracy, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Operate sit-down and/or stand-up forklifts safely and efficiently. Load and unload trucks and containers. Move materials, pallets, products, and inventory throughout the warehouse. Stage materials in designated areas for shipping, receiving, and production. Verify quantities and inspect materials for damage. Assist with shipping and receiving activities. Maintain accurate inventory placement and organization. Follow all company safety policies and OSHA requirements. Perform routine equipment inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Assist with general warehouse and material-handling duties as needed. Work as part of a team to meet daily production and shipping goals. Lift, push, pull, and move materials as required. Qualifications Previous forklift or warehouse experience preferred. Ability to safely operate material-handling equipment. Ability to lift up to 50-75 pounds as required. Strong attention to detail and safety awareness. Dependable attendance and ability to work independently. Ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment. Good communication and teamwork skills. Forklift certification preferred or willingness to become certified.
