ABOUT AQUA SCIENCE

Founded in 1985, Aqua Science is an established supplier of water-treatment equipment, well pumps, pressure tanks, booster systems, filtration products, replacement filters, and related supplies. We serve residential, commercial, and industrial customers throughout the United States through our Wyoming, Rhode Island facility and AquaScience.net.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Aqua Science is seeking a dependable, organized warehouse employee to join our team. You will help ensure that customer orders are picked accurately, packaged securely, and shipped on time. Will be happy to train the right man or woman. This is a full-time, hands-on position involving shipping, receiving, inventory handling, warehouse organization, and light assembly.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Receive, inspect, count, and verify incoming merchandise
  
• Report damaged, missing, or incorrectly shipped products
  
• Stock merchandise in assigned warehouse locations
  
• Accurately pick and verify customer orders
  
• Pack and label parcel and freight shipments
  
• Prepare orders for pickup by shipping carriers
  
• Assist with inventory counts and discrepancy research
  
• Perform product kitting, labeling, and light assembly
  
• Safely operate a forklift and pallet jack
  
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse
  
• Work with other team members to meet daily shipping goals
  
• Perform other warehouse duties as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

• Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain a consistent work schedule
  
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  
• Able to follow instructions and established warehouse procedures
  
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
  
• Comfortable using computers, barcode scanners, and shipping systems
  
• Able to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 pounds
  
• Able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical work throughout the shift
  
• Able to safely operate a forklift or willing to be trained
  
• Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, or logistics experience is helpful but not required
