Warehouse & Shipping Associate Job Type:

Full-Time | On-Site About Screen Tight Screen Tight is a family-owned manufacturer of innovative porch screening systems, screen doors, and building products based in Georgetown, South Carolina. For more than 30 years, our products have been sold through leading home improvement retailers, distributors, contractors, and building-product dealers across North America, including Home Depot, Lowe's, and Tractor Supply. Position Overview Screen Tight is seeking a Warehouse & Shipping Associate to support daily operations across our warehouse and dedicated shipping line at our Georgetown manufacturing facility. You will work as part of a hands-on team responsible for pulling, staging, preparing, and loading customer orders while maintaining an organized and accurate warehouse. This position is ideal for someone who is dependable, works well as part of a team, and takes pride in completing work safely, accurately, and efficiently.

Compensation Pay Rate:

$15 - $17 per hour based on experience

Overtime:

Required based on seasonal demand. Typical overtime is 5 - 8 hours per week Key Responsibilities Pull and stage customer orders accurately and according to daily shipping priorities Move finished goods and materials between warehouse, production, staging, and shipping areas Prepare, wrap, label, and organize products for shipment Load outbound trucks and verify products and quantities before shipment Maintain accurate inventory locations and follow required inventory-movement procedures Use RF-SMART and NetSuite to scan and record inventory movements, picking, staging, and shipping activities Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse, shipping line, and staging areas Identify and report inventory discrepancies, damaged products, shortages, and other issues to the Warehouse & Shipping Lead Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment as required Follow standard work, safety procedures, and direction from the Warehouse & Shipping Lead Support cycle counts, physical inventories, and other warehouse activities as needed Required Qualifications Previous experience in warehousing, shipping, manufacturing, distribution, or material handling preferred, but not required Dependable attendance and ability to work effectively as part of a team Strong attention to detail and commitment to order and inventory accuracy Ability to follow instructions and established warehouse and safety procedures Comfortable learning and using handheld scanners and basic warehouse technology Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of the position, including lifting, moving, and handling materials throughout the workday Willingness to work overtime based on production and shipping requirements Preferred Qualifications Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience Forklift experience or certification Experience pulling, staging, and loading customer orders Experience with RF-SMART, NetSuite, or similar barcode-scanning and inventory systems Experience with LTL or truckload shipping operationsWillingness to work overtime based on production and shipping requirements Screen Tight is an equal opportunity employer.
