Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and energetic Warehouse Laborer to join our dynamic distribution team. In this role, you will be an essential part of our warehouse operations, responsible for handling materials, operating heavy equipment, and supporting efficient shipping and receiving processes. Your proactive approach and attention to safety will ensure smooth workflow and contribute to the overall success of our logistics operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in warehouse distribution, heavy equipment operation, and materials handling within a fast-paced environment. Duties Load and unload shipments using forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment while adhering to OSHA safety standards Assist with order picking, packing, and staging products for shipment or storage Support shipping and receiving activities by verifying shipments, inspecting goods, and documenting transactions Conduct materials handling tasks including heavy lifting, stacking, and organizing inventory in designated areas Maintain a clean, organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency across all warehouse operations Qualifications Prior warehouse experience with familiarity in distribution processes is highly preferred Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, and order pickers is preferred; certification is a plus Mechanical knowledge related to warehouse machinery and safety protocols (OSHA standards) is desirable Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently while maintaining proper ergonomic techniques, able to lift 50+ pounds consistently Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) Strong understanding of shipping & receiving procedures and materials handling best practices Valid certification for forklift operation or heavy equipment operation is advantageous; construction or industrial background is beneficial Excellent attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately in a fast-paced environment Join us as a Warehouse Laborer and become part of a team dedicated to excellence in logistics!
