Warehouse Associate Job Description The Warehouse Associate supports daily warehouse operations by receiving, handling, labeling, packing, and shipping products in a clean and organized facility. This role ensures that all materials and finished goods move accurately and efficiently through internal processes, while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and organization. Responsibilities Receive product from outside vendors, unload deliveries, and verify part numbers and quantities against documentation. Label packaging accurately for in-house coating processes and ensure all items are clearly identified. Pack semi-finished products securely for shipment to the coating facility, following established procedures. Receive returned goods and return them to finished product inventory in an accurate and timely manner. Double-check, pack, and ship deliveries that require manual processing and cannot be handled automatically, ensuring correct documentation and labeling. Maintain a clean, tidy, and organized warehouse environment, including proper care and use of equipment. Follow operational procedures, rules, and schedules to support efficient and consistent warehouse operations. Assist team members with specific tasks to ensure smooth workflow and collaboration across the warehouse. Handle all merchandise, tools, and equipment with care and attention to prevent damage and maintain quality standards. Support general warehouse activities such as packing, picking, loading, unloading, inventory control, and shipping and receiving as needed. Essential Skills Experience performing general labor tasks in a warehouse or similar environment. Hands-on experience with packing, picking, loading, unloading, and handling materials. Practical knowledge of inventory control and warehouse inventory processes. Experience with shipping and receiving activities, including verifying part numbers and quantities. Ability to follow established warehouse procedures and operational rules. Strong attention to detail when labeling, packing, and verifying products. Ability to work collaboratively with team members and assist with shared tasks. Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area. Additional Skills & Qualifications Familiarity with manual shipping processes for orders that cannot be processed automatically. Experience working with semi-finished and finished goods in a production or manufacturing environment. Comfort working with basic warehouse equipment and tools while treating them with care. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and support multiple warehouse functions as needed. Why Work Here? The warehouse uses standard material handling equipment and tools to support receiving, packing, inventory, and shipping activities. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Franklin, TN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
