Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth warehouse, fulfilling order request, supporting manufacturing processes, and efficient materials handling. Working along side a small group of individuals in a laid back atmosphere with great benefits. Benefits Full-time, 40-hour work week Consistent 8:00 AM-4:00 PM schedule Paid holidays 40 hours paid vacation 40 hours paid sick leave 40 hours extended holiday leave Christmas through New Year's off (paid) Company pays 80% of employee health insurance premiums Stable, long-term employment with opportunities for growth Responsibilities Operate various material handling equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, cranes, and order pickers to load, unload, and move inventory safely and efficiently Support Manufacturing processes Assist in shipping and receiving processes by preparing orders for shipment, packing items securely, and verifying shipments against order documentation Conduct manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting and stacking to ensure proper storage and organization of materials in compliance with safety regulations (OSHA standards) Support warehouse distribution activities by stocking shelves, picking & packing orders, and fulfilling customer orders with precision and speed Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols, using personal protective equipment (PPE), and following OSHA guidelines for heavy equipment operation and materials handling Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize warehouse operations, improve workflow efficiency, and ensure compliance with safety regulations Requirements Proven experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, cranes, or order pickers; certification is preferred but not mandatory Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting while maintaining safety protocol adherence Knowledge of safety regulations related to warehouse operations (OSHA standards) and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Mechanical knowledge or construction experience is a plus for troubleshooting equipment issues Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in stocking, order picking & packing, shipping & receiving processes Prior experience in manufacturing or logistics environments is highly desirable Ability to work effectively within a team environment while demonstrating technical proficiency in heavy equipment operation and inventory management Join us today to be part of a vibrant team committed to operational excellence!
