- during regular business hours Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Company Truck Driver / Warehouseman, where you'll play a vital role in transporting freight safely and efficiently while supporting warehouse operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine professional driving with supporting warehouse functions, as needed. A valid CDL, Class A license with doubles endorsement is required, along with a strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance. Duties Operate tractor-trailers and flatbeds adhering strictly to FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards. Safely load and unload freight with a forklift. Navigate company preferred routes to ensure timely deliveries. Transport cargo efficiently while maintaining vehicle safety and cleanliness. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on trucks, trailers, and cargo to ensure compliance with safety standards. Load freight onto trucks manually or with equipment, ensuring proper securing of cargo for transport, including straps. Maintain accurate delivery logs and compliance records in line with FMCSA and DOT regulations. Experience Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL), Class A, with a clean driving record and doubles endorsement. Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including tractor-trailer operation and route driving. Familiarity with trailers, flatbeds, logistics cargo handling. Knowledge of hazardous materials regulations (Hazmat) preferred but not required; training can be provided. Experience with manual transmission trucks is advantageous. Ability to handle manual loading/unloading tasks safely and effectively. Strong understanding of FMCSA regulations, DOT standards, and hazardous goods handling procedures.
