Burnett Dairy Cooperative is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Warehouse Assistant / Inventory Coordinator to join our team. This is a unique dual-role position that combines hands-on warehouse responsibilities with inventory coordination and computer-based inventory management. Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 12:00 PM - 8:00

PM What You'll Do Warehouse Responsibilities:

Assist with unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, and matching purchase orders to sales orders. Move materials and products between receiving, storage, shipping, and other designated areas. Read customer orders, shipping orders, and requisitions to gather and distribute products. Sort and organize materials and products on racks, shelves, and in designated storage areas. Assist with maintaining an organized, clean, and safe warehouse environment. Operate a forklift as needed.

Inventory Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate inventory records and inventory master data. Perform daily, weekly, and quarterly cycle counts. Investigate inventory discrepancies and work with team members to resolve variances. Use scan guns to complete inventory counts, research discrepancies, and reconcile inventory. Maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) information within Ross software and verify production records are updated accurately. Enter inventory adjustments and assist with daily inventory transactions. Coordinate and enter physical inventory counts. Work with Finance, Operations, and Inventory Control to research and resolve inventory variances. Help ensure inventory and production information remains consistent across multiple computer systems. Participate in company-wide physical inventories as scheduled. What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED preferred. 1-3 years of experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, and/or inventory control preferred. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Comfortable using computers for email, data entry, Microsoft Office, and inventory-related tasks. Experience with ERP, shipping, or inventory management systems is helpful. Ability to obtain and maintain a forklift license. Previous forklift experience is preferred but not required. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently while also being part of a team. Dependable attendance and a positive attitude. Physical & Work Environment This position includes both warehouse and computer-based responsibilities. Candidates should be comfortable working in an active environment that may include: Working in temperatures around 40°F. Occasionally lifting, pushing, pulling, or stacking up to 60 pounds. Frequent use of hands and repetitive computer work. Sitting for periods of time while operating a forklift. Standing and walking as needed throughout the shift.
