A plumber helper works under the supervision of a licensed plumber to support plumbing installations, maintenance, and repairs in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Key Responsibilities Assist with installation, repair, and maintenance of pipes, fixtures, and plumbing systems. Prepare and restore job sites, including unloading materials, setting up tools, marking pipe locations, and cleaning up. Handle tools, equipment, and materials; maintain inventory and ensure tools are in safe working condition. Support system testing for leaks and proper operation. Follow safety protocols, building codes, and instructions from licensed plumbers. Perform basic tasks such as measuring, cutting, and holding pipes during installation. Maintain clean and organized work areas and assist with waste disposal. Required Skills & Qualifications Basic understanding of plumbing systems, tools, and methods. Ability to read and interpret blueprints (not required, but helpful). Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects and work in confined spaces. Strong communication, teamwork, and problem‐solving skills. High school diploma or equivalent.

Pay:

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 32.0 - 40.0 per week
