Type:
Full-time Excelous, LLC is assembling the operations team for a 24/7/365 industrial wastewater pretreatment plant at the Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) District of Columbia Currency Facility in Southwest Washington, DC. The plant includes a wiping-solution wastewater pretreatment system, a plating (nickel/chrome) wastewater pretreatment system, a grease-trap system, a wiping-solution recycling plant, and an on-site laboratory. This position is

; anticipated start late 2026.

Weekday day shift; on-call
Clearance:
High Risk Public Trust Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a science (e.g., chemistry, biology, physics) or engineering discipline (e.g., civil, mechanical, chemical) PLUS 4 years of technical experience in an industrial wastewater pretreatment plant, chemical process plant, or similar industrial facility; OR high school diploma/GED PLUS 8 years in a program management/managerial role in industrial wastewater, chemical processing, or a similar industrial field.
Demonstrated experience in:
(1) contract management and deliverables; (2) environmental regulations oversight; (3) safety management; (4) stakeholder management. Oversee technical, schedule and cost performance through subordinate managers and supervisors. U.S. citizenship required; must obtain and maintain a federal Public Trust suitability determination (background investigation, fingerprinting, PIV badge). Fluent in written and spoken English. Able to wear a tight-fitting respirator (29 CFR 1910.134) and required PPE; steel-toe safety shoes. Working knowledge of
HMI/SCADA
systems and Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Experience used to qualify must be within the last 15 years.
