Monday through Friday from 7am to 3:30pm. Overview Join our dynamic team as an Industrial Sanitation Technician and play a vital role in maintaining a safe, clean, and compliant manufacturing environment. In this energetic position, you will be responsible for executing thorough sanitation procedures across production areas, ensuring adherence to food safety standards, and supporting overall operational excellence. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in industrial cleaning, chemical handling, and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) while contributing to a vital part of our manufacturing process. Duties Perform routine cleaning of production equipment, floors, walls, and other surfaces using appropriate cleaning agents and methods. Handle and apply chemical agents safely according to established protocols, including mixing, storing, and disposing of chemicals responsibly. Follow strict sanitation procedures aligned with GMP standards to prevent contamination and ensure product safety. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, masks, goggles, and respiratory protection to maintain safety during all cleaning activities. Conduct detailed sanitation inspections to verify cleanliness levels meet regulatory and company standards. Maintain accurate records of cleaning schedules, chemical usage, and inspection reports for compliance audits. Assist with warehouse organization by moving supplies or equipment as needed, including heavy lifting when required. Skills Proven experience in industrial or commercial cleaning environments, especially within food production or manufacturing settings. Knowledge of chemical handling safety procedures and proper use of cleaning agents. Familiarity with GMP guidelines, food safety protocols, and sanitation standards applicable to food processing facilities. Ability to perform basic math calculations for measuring chemicals or recording data accurately. Strong understanding of PPE use, respiratory protection requirements, and safety protocol adherence. Experience with janitorial tasks or custodial work in a warehouse or industrial environment is highly desirable. Physical capability for heavy lifting, prolonged standing or walking, and performing repetitive cleaning tasks efficiently.
