SUMMARY OF POSITION

The Recycle Center Yard Helper is responsible for processing metal to prepare for shipment, inspecting loads, sorting materials and operating equipment with in a Waste Pro recycling facility.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Process and prepare materials for recycling, inspecting loads, removing debris from material to be recycled Maintain a clean and organized work environment both inside and outside the facility Ensure that commodities are loaded, transported and stored in an efficient and timely manner Work with the team onsite to complete daily maintenance of concrete crushing equipment including cleaning, greasing and fueling Observe and report any potential malfunctions Operate the weight station scale-Delete Line Greets and assists the public in a friendly manner providing quality customer service

OTHER JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Employees in this job classification must attend and participate in corporation sponsored training courses as assigned. Employees in this job classification are responsible for keeping up to date on current technology, as job appropriate, being used by Waste Pro USA. Ability to perform labor work High School education/GED or equivalent preferred Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools Ability to follow directions and work as a team or independently

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Normal setting for this job is outdoor Industrial process plant with heavy production equipment, rolling stock and inventory. Required to use motor coordination and ability to lift up to 50 pounds. May also work in a variety of environment conditions, including wide temperature and weather variations including heat, cold, snow, rain, wind; noise and vibrations, fumes, odors and dust
