Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Street Sweeper Operator. This role involves operating Commercial street-sweeping vehicles and equipment to clean Highways, Bridges, sidewalks, and public spaces during daytime hours. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working independently, and committed to maintaining cleanliness and safety in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate street-sweeping trucks and equipment to remove debris, dirt, and litter from roadways, parking lots, and sidewalks. Follow designated routes and schedules to ensure efficient and thorough cleaning. Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance of sweeping equipment, such as checking fluid levels and clearing blockages. Adhere to all safety protocols, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following traffic regulations. Report any road hazards, obstructions, or mechanical issues to the appropriate department. Work in various weather conditions and adjust operations as needed based on road conditions. Communicate with supervisors and team members to coordinate cleaning efforts and address special requests.
