Full Job Description ViskoTeepak Position Summary:
This position has been created to ensure the sanitation of ViskoTeepak's plant and equipment. The employee will be responsible for sanitation of all work centers following weekly, monthly, bi-annual, and annual procedures. This list is not all inclusive and additional duties may be added as needed.
Essential Functions:
Ensure that all processing equipment is properly cleaned and sanitized to established standards. Maintain plant cleanliness in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices and Food Safety Systems Follow all sanitation equipment and chemical guidelines Clean machine parts and return to proper locations Follow instructions listed in the Standard Sanitation Operations Procedure binder located at each work center Sweep / Sanitize floors using floor scrubber in warehouse and plant floors Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently Willingness to learn Work scheduled overtime Good attendance is a must
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Knowledge of general sanitation in a food production environment Operate a floor scrubber and Sky Lift General knowledge of machine operation Knowledge of Lock Out/Tag Out procedures Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift 50 lbs. is required Constant standing, walking, reaching, squatting, and grasping Environmental Conditions Personal protective equipment will be provided by the Company including, but not limited to glasses, goggles, welding masks, gloves, aprons and hearing protection. Appropriate PPE IAW the NFPA regulations is also required. The workplace is air-conditioned, heated and well lit. Good Manufacturing Practices for
Food Safety:
All Operations employee are responsible for the safety and quality of ViskoTeepak products. Any and all safety issues must be reported to the supervisor immediately. All employees are advised of this and must be properly trained to perform this job using appropriate sanitation and food safety procedures.
