Express Employment Professionals of Downey is currently seeking a

CUSTOMER SERVICE REP/ACCOUNT ADMINISTRATOR

for a well-established company in

COMPTON, CA. SCHEDULE

Monday through Friday, 7AM - 4PM + possible overtime

Qualifications:

5+ years office-based customer service experience

) MUST reside within 10 miles of Compton area Familiarity with multi-line phones Bilingual required (fluent English & Spanish) Excellent data entry MS Office proficiency Strong attention to detail Work well under pressure

Responsibilities:

Monitor email communication from clients and their freight forwarders or customs brokers; collect shipment pre-alerts and inform the assigned warehouse supervisor of expected inbound volume and arrival dates Schedule shipment pick-ups and deliveries with authorized carriers per each client's standard operating procedures or special shipping instructions Ensure shipment data files are received and visible in the WMS ahead of arrival Create, print, and distribute shipping documents for the warehouse Process return orders in the WMS, keep clients updated on return status, and create inventory adjustments as needed; inform the client of any issues that delay or prevent return processing beyond the agreed SOP timeline Analyze inbound shipment discrepancies found by the warehouse team, troubleshoot with operations and MODA management to resolve or validate them, and inform the client of the final outcome Monitor warehouse receiving progress in the WMS and compare results against expected quantities upon completion; post receipts in the WMS and inform the client accordingly Additional tasks as assigned
