Job Description

Our growing client is looking for a Customer Service & Industrial Support Coordinator who will support customers throughout the full order lifecycle, from initial inquiry and order entry through production coordination, shipment, and follow-up. This role carries higher expectations for accuracy, ownership, technical learning, and cross-functional coordination. The successful candidate will build a strong foundation in customer service and order processing, with the potential to grow into supporting industrial customers, complex projects, and broader account responsibilities over time. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Customer Service & Order Management Serve as a primary point of contact for customers by phone, email, and in person, responding professionally and efficiently. Listen to customer needs, provide product and service information, and resolve routine issues while escalating complex requests appropriately. Enter, process, and manage customer orders accurately within company systems. Review customer information, artwork, specifications, pricing, shipping details, and order changes for completeness and accuracy. Monitor pending orders, customer comments, production status, and follow-up requirements to keep work moving on schedule. Review and clear shipped orders, confirm system accuracy, and help resolve delivery or order-related concerns. Maintain clear records of customer interactions, decisions, and actions taken throughout the order lifecycle. Cross-Functional & Industrial Account Support Coordinate closely with production, shipping, vendors, partners, sales, and other internal team members to support customer expectations. Develop working knowledge of products, technical specifications, production processes, and industrial applications. Support industrial customer inquiries and projects under the guidance of experienced team members. Assist with preparing quotes, clarifying requirements, tracking project details, and coordinating next steps for more complex orders. Identify potential service issues, workflow gaps, or account opportunities and communicate them to the appropriate team member. Contribute to process documentation, workflow improvements, and consistent customer-service practices. Provide support across departments as priorities shift in a fast-paced, small-business environment. Required Skills and Qualifications Strong customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written. Professional judgment and the ability to manage customer expectations with tact and accuracy. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace; comfort using spreadsheets, documents, and email. Ability to learn order-management, CRM, database, design, or production-related software. Strong attention to detail, visual accuracy, and commitment to high-quality work. Excellent organization, follow-through, time management, and ability to manage multiple active orders or projects. Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to research information before escalating issues. Ability to collaborate across functions and adapt to changing priorities. Interest in developing technical product knowledge and growing into industrial account support. Nice to Have (Not Required) Experience in customer service, order entry, inside sales support, project coordination, or account management. Experience in a production, manufacturing, technical, distribution, logistics, or custom-order environment. Familiarity with CRM, ERP, order-management, quoting, inventory, or shipping systems. Exposure to Adobe Illustrator, CAD, image-file preparation, or other technical software. Experience supporting business-to-business or industrial customers. Bilingual communication skills. Position Purpose This role helps deliver an accurate and consistent customer experience from initial contact through order completion. By combining customer service, order processing, technical learning, and cross-functional coordination, the position supports operational efficiency today while building a development path toward future industrial account responsibilities.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8:30-5pm (Onsite)
Pay:
$23.00 - $27.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
