$75,000-$85,000 annually About Pepperland Marketing Pepperland Marketing is an education-focused digital marketing agency serving colleges, universities, and independent schools. We help institutions attract and engage prospective students and families through enrollment strategy, content, search, paid media, websites, HubSpot, marketing automation, and analytics. Role Overview The Client Success Manager owns the day-to-day relationship and overall health of an assigned client portfolio. You'll connect client priorities with the work of our Strategists and Specialists, keeping clients informed, expectations aligned, risks visible, and work moving forward. This role calls for strong judgment, marketing fluency, organization, and reliable follow-through. Key Responsibilities Build trusted client relationships and develop a strong understanding of each institution's goals, stakeholders, priorities, and measures of success. Translate client conversations and strategic direction into clear plans, owners, deadlines, and next steps. Coordinate work across Strategists and Specialists, making sure the team has the context it needs and that commitments do not fall through the cracks. Lead recurring client meetings and coordinate reporting so clients understand progress, results, priorities, and next steps. Identify delivery risks, scope concerns, dissatisfaction, and blockers early, and help resolve or escalate them appropriately. Support onboarding, renewals, account transitions, and appropriate opportunities for expanded support. Maintain accurate account and project information and contribute to a consistent, dependable client experience. Qualifications At least three years of relevant experience in client services, account management, customer success, or project delivery, including direct responsibility for client relationships. Experience managing multiple client relationships or complex projects with strong organization and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication, confidence leading meetings, and sound judgment when priorities or expectations conflict. Working knowledge of digital marketing, including content, SEO, paid media, websites, CRM, marketing automation, and analytics. Deep execution expertise in every discipline is not required. Comfort with performance data and common project-management, CRM, and reporting platforms. Agency, education-sector, and hands-on HubSpot experience are especially relevant. Location and Work Environment This is a full-time, in-office position based in our Cheshire, Connecticut office. Once established in the role, team members may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement based on the needs of the role and team. Occasional travel to client locations may also be required.
Compensation Salary range:
$75,000-$85,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications. The position offers additional compensation growth potential as an employee develops in the role.
