Temporary Parts & Warehouse Operations Coordinator Generator Systems, LLC is seeking a dependable and organized Temporary Customer Service, Warehouse & Parts Coordinator to assist with the day-to-day operation of our Parts Department and warehouse. This is a hands-on coordination position involving customer service, warehouse oversight, parts purchasing, vendor communication, returns, basic bill entry, and general operational support. The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable handling multiple responsibilities, communicates professionally with customers and vendors, and can help keep a busy parts and warehouse operation running efficiently. Key Responsibilities Customer Service & Parts Support Monitor and respond to customer emails for Gensys Parts DIY. Monitor Generator Systems email and respond to parts-related vendor communications. Answer incoming Parts Department phone calls throughout the day. Follow up on customer orders, backorders, shipping issues, returns, and other parts-related concerns. Provide professional and courteous customer service while following company procedures. Warehouse Operations Check in with warehouse employees throughout the day to ensure assigned work is progressing. Make sure customer orders are processed, packed, and shipped accurately and on time. Provide employees with guidance or clarification when needed. Monitor compliance with established warehouse procedures. Assist with resolving day-to-day warehouse, order, and shipping issues. Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment. Purchasing & Purchase Orders Prepare and place scheduled Generac parts orders every Monday and Friday. Create the appropriate purchase orders (POs). Review parts requirements before placing orders. Verify current vendor pricing and order information for accuracy. Follow up on purchasing or vendor issues when necessary. Bills & Administrative Support Enter vendor bills approximately three days per week. Verify that bills, purchasing information, and supporting documentation are entered accurately. Maintain organized purchasing and parts-related records. Returns Review returned merchandise received by the warehouse. Make sure eligible returns are reviewed and processed within the applicable 30-day return period. Track returns requiring additional information, review, or follow-up. Follow company return procedures and policies. Warehouse & Building Supplies Monitor inventory of shipping boxes, packing materials, and other essential warehouse supplies. Place box orders approximately every 2-3 months or as needed. Order approved essential supplies for the warehouse and building. Help ensure critical operating supplies are replenished before they run out. Friday Responsibilities Complete the scheduled Generac parts order and related purchase order. Verify current pricing before submitting the order. Coordinate Friday cleaning and organization of warehouse and work areas. Qualifications Strong organizational and time-management skills. Good written and verbal communication skills. Professional customer-service skills. Comfortable working with computers, email, and business software. Ability to accurately enter and review purchasing and billing information. Ability to manage several responsibilities and priorities throughout the day. Strong attention to detail. Dependable and able to work with limited supervision. Previous experience in warehouse operations, parts, inventory, purchasing, customer service, or a similar environment is preferred. Experience with QuickBooks Online or similar accounting software is a plus. Generator or equipment-parts experience is helpful but not required. Position Type Temporary Position This position is intended to provide temporary operational support for the Parts Department and warehouse. The employee will work closely with management and warehouse staff to ensure customer orders, purchasing, vendor communication, returns, and daily warehouse activities remain organized and on schedule. Pay:
$18.00 - $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 40.0 per week
