Duties Assist in overseeing daily store operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow Support recruiting efforts by participating in interviewing and onboarding new team members Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service and resolving escalated issues Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and merchandising to maximize sales potential Help coordinate employee training and development initiatives to enhance team performance Handle POS (Point of Sale) systems, cash handling, and basic bookkeeping tasks accurately Contribute to sales management strategies, including pricing, promotions, and sales goals Requirements Previous supervisory or assistant manager experience in retail or related industries preferred Strong management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team Excellent communication skills, including managerial communication and phone etiquette Proficiency with POS systems, inventory management software, and basic math skills Ability to perform multiple tasks efficiently with excellent organizational skills Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases but not required Demonstrated knowledge of retail industry sales techniques, customer service excellence, and operational management principles We are looking for a manager in training with great customer service skills with flexible availability. Must be willing to travel to Crest Hill, Naperville, Orland Park, Villa Park or Glendale Heights once a permanent position becomes available. Applicants for this position MUST BE at least 18 Years. This is a Full-Time;40 hour per week; permanent position with a varied schedule. Training at various locations may be required.
