World Kia Joliet is looking for a friendly, energetic and customer-focused Service BDC Representative to join our team. If you have a great phone presence, enjoy helping people and want an opportunity to grow within a dealership, this could be the perfect place to start.

PAY:

$17-$18 PER HOUR Starting pay is based on experience. Dealership experience is preferred, but we are absolutely willing to train the right person. This position has historically been a great stepping stone into other opportunities within our dealership, so if you are motivated, dependable and looking for long-term growth, we want to meet you!

WHAT YOU'LL DO

You will be one of the first voices our customers hear and an important part of keeping our Service Department moving.

Responsibilities include:

Answering incoming customer calls in a friendly and professional manner Scheduling service appointments Following up with customers and assisting with appointment needs Helping coordinate towing and transportation Providing customers with vehicle status updates Answering basic service-related questions Directing calls to the appropriate department or team member Assisting customers with payments when needed Supporting the cashier and other departments as needed Handling customer concerns professionally and helping connect them with the right manager Maintaining a positive, helpful and professional customer experience

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR A

strong, friendly and confident phone voice Excellent communication skills Great organization and attention to detail Ability to multitask in a busy environment Strong customer-service skills Dependable and professional attitude Basic Microsoft Office experience Dealership or automotive experience is a plus Ability to work some Saturdays Flexibility with scheduling Ability to successfully complete a background check
