•80K + Bonus | Spring Lake, MI Tigon Golf Carts is hiring a mechanically skilled Store and Service Manager to lead our Spring Lake, MI dealership. This is a hands-on working-manager role. You'll lead a team of golf cart mechanics and technicians, run the service department and shop, diagnose tough repairs, and drive golf cart and LSV sales. It's ideal for a service manager, shop foreman, lead technician, master mechanic, service advisor, or store manager with real wrenching experience from a golf cart, powersports, ATV/UTV, motorcycle, automotive, small engine, marine, RV, or equipment dealership who's ready to run their own location. Our Spring Lake dealership is conveniently located for candidates commuting from Grand Haven, Ferrysburg, Fruitport, Norton Shores, Muskegon, Allendale, Coopersville, Holland, and surrounding communities. About Tigon Golf Carts Tigon Golf Carts is a fast-growing golf cart dealership with 15 locations and counting. We sell and service new, used, and custom golf carts, street-legal LSVs (low-speed vehicles), utility carts, and electric and lithium-powered models. Most of our customers aren't on a golf course: they're homeowners, neighborhoods and HOAs, campuses, campgrounds, and businesses.

Our standard is simple:

Every Cart Earns Its Stripes. Schedule 5-day standard workweek. Up to 6 days during peak season or for coverage, with advance notice and a consistent day off each week. Weekend availability is required as scheduled. What You'll Do Leadership & Shop Management Supervise the location's golf cart mechanics and technicians: assign repair work, set daily priorities, and hold the shop accountable for quality and turnaround time Interview candidates and make hiring, promotion, discipline, and termination recommendations Train and coach technicians on diagnostics, repair procedures, and shop standards Enforce shop safety, DOT delivery compliance, and Tigon operating standards Service Department Operations Run the service department: write repair orders, build estimates, manage the service schedule, and oversee diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance Quality-check completed repairs and ensure every cart passes pre-delivery inspection (PDI), road test, photo documentation, and customer handoff Track shop KPIs like productivity, labor hours, turnaround time, comebacks, and customer satisfaction, and report to HQ Coordinate parts ordering, warranty claims, and escalations Keep repair orders and customer records current in our dealer management system (DMS) Mechanical Diagnostics & Technical Leadership Serve as the shop's lead diagnostic resource on difficult jobs Troubleshoot 48V and 72V electrical systems, including wiring, controllers, motors, solenoids, chargers, and accessories Diagnose lithium and lead-acid battery systems, including battery management systems (BMS) Support repairs on gas carts, brakes, steering, suspension, and drivetrain components Oversee lift kit, lighting, accessory, and LSV street-legal installations Read wiring diagrams and use multimeters and diagnostic tools Store Operations, Sales & Customer Service Manage daily dealership operations, including opening and closing, cash handling, and inventory Sell new and used golf carts, LSVs, accessories, and service: greet customers, give demos, explain repairs, and close deals Resolve customer concerns and build repeat and referral business across the Triangle Deliveries & Facility Coordinate and, when needed, perform deliveries and pickups using a flatbed truck and a 25-foot enclosed trailer Load, secure, and unload carts safely, and complete pre-trip inspections and delivery paperwork Oversee facility upkeep and keep the showroom, shop, and lot clean and presentable Requirements 2+ years of hands-on mechanic or technician experience (golf cart, powersports, ATV/UTV, motorcycle, automotive, small engine, marine, or equipment) 2+ years supervising a team, such as service manager, shop foreman, lead technician, store manager, or assistant manager Strong electrical troubleshooting skills, including use of a multimeter and wiring diagrams 2+ years of sales or customer service experience, preferably at a dealership Experience running a location or shift independently, including opening and closing Comfortable driving a flatbed truck and towing, backing, and maneuvering a 25-foot enclosed trailer (no CDL required) Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record Able to obtain and maintain a DOT medical card (medical examiner's certificate) after a conditional job offer Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work indoors and outdoors year-round, with or without reasonable accommodation Preferred Golf cart experience with Club Car, E-Z-GO, Yamaha, ICON, Evolution, or similar brands Lithium battery, BMS, motor controller, or EV experience Powersports service department experience (Polaris, Can-Am, Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki, or similar) ASE, OEM, or manufacturer certifications Service advisor or service writer experience Current DOT medical card and load securement experience Dealer management system (DMS), POS, or CRM experience Knowledge of the Raleigh and Triangle area Pay & Benefits $60,000
