Front of House / Customer Service Manager - Evening Shift We're hiring a Front of House / Customer Service Manager to lead our evening (closing) shift at Chick-fil-A Alpine Ave! As a manager here, you'll oversee day-to-day restaurant operations during your shift — supervising your team, managing guest service, and keeping the front of house running smoothly. Restaurant industry experience is welcome but not required — we're open to any kind of team lead, supervisor, or shift lead background, formal title or not, including candidates coming from other quick-service restaurant (QSR) brands. This role starts as a Manager in Training so we can make sure it's the right fit on both sides. Pay for this position ranges $18-$24/hour.
Schedule:
This role covers our evening shift, 2PM until close (11PM). Friday and Saturday availability is required. This is a full-time management position. What you'll do (Shift & Team Leadership): Lead and supervise the front of house team, keeping everyone focused on hospitality, guest service, and customer satisfaction between 2PM and close Oversee order accuracy and quality control to make sure guests get exactly what they ordered Manage workflow and pacing to hit our restaurant's speed-of-service and guest wait-time standards Maintain a clean, safe dining and service environment, following all food safety and sanitation protocols Ensure compliance with minor labor laws throughout the shift Coordinate break scheduling to support staff well-being and team morale Monitor performance bottlenecks ("pinch points") during rushes and step in with hands-on problem-solving Jump into any front-of-house or guest service task as needed to support the team Handle guest complaints and service recovery, escalating complex issues to upper management Coach, mentor, and give feedback to team members, building a positive, respectful team culture Communicate performance issues or policy violations to management for follow-up Uphold all company policies, procedures, and brand standards What we're looking for: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills A background in customer service, hospitality, food service, or restaurant/retail management (formal or informal leadership experience both welcome) Comfort supervising a team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment A guest-first, service-oriented mindset

REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. Must have a reliable source of transportation Must be at least 18 years old Must be eligible to work in the United States Must have ability to handle all restaurant equipment; navigating shelving both high and low Ability to hear conversations (telephone or in-person) Mobility required during shifts Must have past experience in shift leading and/or leadership Full-time must be available to work minimum of 32 hours per week, including Fridays & Saturdays Must be able to be on your feet for long periods of time Must work well under pressure Works in hot, noisy, and fast paced environment Reading, writing, and basic math and verbal communication skills required Ability to multitask Team-oriented, adaptable, dependable, and strong work ethic Must have good customer service skills Chick-fil-A, Inc., Founder S.
