Job Description

NorthStar Regional is hiring for an Intake/Admin Role at the Riverwood Campus in
Otsego Job Summary:
​​You will greet new clients and verify (address, insurance, medical history, medications) their personal information within Procentive. You will address new client questions and go over client rules and expectations of the program. Assign new clients to their counselors/mental health therapist. To be successful as an intake coordinator, you should be organized, and detail orientated. ​​
Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Assist Director with screening potential admissions when needed. Welcome new intakes as they enter the facility. Verify and input client information into Procentive. Gather client information. Create/Upload completed documents into the client's file. Properly document court/commitment paperwork (IAAP), allergies, diet, or other pertinent information. Make appointments with internal staff. Communicate all necessary information to clinical staff, Directors, techs, and Counselors. Call/fax/e-mail referring agencies (with a release of information) upon admission. Assist clients with completing Medical Assistance, MNsure, and General Assistance applications. Navigate Procentive, SharePoint, Outlook, MNsure, and Insurance provider websites. Maintenance of master client tracker to reflect incoming clients and assigning clients effectively. Move Discharged clients to the inactive list. Add incoming clients. Complete SUD assessments for incoming clients. Complete Intake DAANEs Cover groups/case management for primary counselors when needed. Additional administrative duties as needed or required. Continuous maintenance and improvement of
Organizational and Therapeutic Culture:
Respect, Accountability, Integrity, Spirituality, Excellence (R.A.I.S.E!) Search and inventory of client property. Tech duties when assigned. All other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age. Must have High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Must complete DHS background check and be cleared to work in human service programs. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft outlook and Microsoft SharePoint. Understanding of the functions of intake process for appropriate client care and safety while enrolled in treatment or willingness to learn Healthcare experience familiarity and/or willingness to learn. Must have ability to remain organized and on tasks with little supervision Acknowledge understanding of Client Rights, per MN 245G. Professional & client experience oriented Excellent clerical and time management skills Excellent communication and people skills Excellent writing skills Consent to background check and be cleared by DHS to work within a human services program Ability to handle stressful situations in a professional manner Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and boundaries Ability to adhere to NSR Mission, Vision, and Values Must be free from problematic chemical use including strict adherence to NSR's drug free workplace policy. Comply with all 245G/245I/245F, MN Statute 148F.165, all other governance statutes as applicable & all program policies and procedures including Client Needs, and acknowledge understanding of Client Rights, per MN Rule 31, part 4747.1500. Must be able to demonstrate flexibility in work hours and responsibilities to accommodate team members' scheduling needs or unexpected situations.
