Position Overview We are seeking a positive, energetic, and relationship-driven Client Success Manager to join our client's team! In this role, you will manage and grow a portfolio of existing client accounts, serving as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor. You will work closely with clients to understand their business goals, employee benefit needs, and operational challenges while ensuring they receive exceptional service and support. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about building long-term client relationships. This individual will help drive client satisfaction, retention, and account growth by identifying opportunities, coordinating solutions, and ensuring client needs are consistently met.
Compensation & Schedule Base Salary:
$50,000-$60,000 annually On-Target Earnings (OTE): Approximately $100,000, including commissions
Commission:
Approximately 2% revenue share on assigned accounts
Commission Payments:
Monthly, typically at the end of the month

ASAP Commission earnings are based on the revenue generated by the accounts you manage and service. Accounts are initially brought in by Sales Representatives. Key Responsibilities Manage and grow a portfolio of existing client accounts while serving as the primary point of contact. Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships by understanding each client's business, goals, and employee benefit needs. Lead regular client meetings, check-ins, and strategic planning discussions to support client satisfaction and retention. Coordinate with internal departments, including Benefits, HR, Payroll, Compliance, and Risk Management, to deliver seamless client solutions. Oversee day-to-day client workflows, including compliance requirements, renewals, plan changes, and service requests. Monitor client data, account performance, and industry trends to identify opportunities for improvement and additional services. Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts by recommending relevant products and services that meet clients' evolving needs. Clearly communicate products, services, and value propositions through professional verbal and written communication. Address and resolve client questions, concerns, and service issues promptly and effectively. Maintain accurate account documentation, client notes, and records within internal systems. Stay informed about industry developments, regulatory requirements, and company offerings to provide knowledgeable client support. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in account management, business development, relationship management, customer success, or a similar role. Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to establish trust and maintain long-term client partnerships. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate account records and documentation. Ability to manage multiple client accounts, prioritize responsibilities, and follow through on commitments. A proactive, client-focused approach to problem-solving and service delivery. Ability to identify opportunities to improve client satisfaction, retention, and account growth. Preferred Qualifications Active Ohio insurance license, such as Life, Health, or Property & Casualty.
