Job Description

Client Experience Coordinator Gurian CPA Firm Addison, TX Job Details Full-time $57,000 - $63,000 a year 1 hour ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance Qualifications Managing customer accounts Managing clients in a customer support role Customer relationship management Account management Client interaction via phone calls Full Job Description About the Role Our clients work with several teams across our firm: operations, accounting, and tax. Each team does its part well, but a client's experience depends on how well those parts connect. We're creating this new position so that every client has someone whose job is to make sure nothing falls between teams. The Client Experience Coordinator is the firm's air traffic control for client relationships. You will check in with clients on a regular basis, before they ever have a reason to call us, and make sure every open question, request, and follow-up reaches the right person and gets resolved. A client should never have to choose between being treated well and having their work done right, and this role exists to protect both. This position reports directly to the firm's founder and owner. What You'll Do Proactively call clients across a book of several hundred accounts to ask how we're doing and whether anything is outstanding. This is a phone-heavy role, and you will make a high volume of calls every day. Listen for what clients aren't saying directly, such as a slow response, an unanswered question, a missing document, or frustration that hasn't surfaced yet. Route each item to the team member responsible and follow it until it is closed. Work with the managers of our operations, accounting, and tax teams to resolve issues, and escalate concerns directly to the founder. Handle smaller items yourself when that is the fastest right answer, and coordinate everything else with the people who own it. Notice patterns, such as recurring gaps, clients at risk of leaving, or opportunities for new work, and bring them forward with practical suggestions. Keep accurate records of client contacts, open items, and outcomes. What This Role Is Not Not a production role. You won't prepare returns or do bookkeeping. Your work is communication and coordination. Not a management role. You won't supervise staff. Your effectiveness comes from relationships, credibility, and follow-through. Not a process redesign role. Our firm runs on defined processes. When you see a gap, you report it and work with the team to close it, and you may suggest improvements. You don't change processes on your own. Who We're Looking For Experience in a client-facing role built on outreach and relationship management, such as account management, client success, or customer relations Genuine comfort on the phone. You should be warm, clear, and at ease talking with clients all day. Strong follow-through. You can track many open items at once, and none of them slip. The ability to raise an issue with a colleague in a way that gets it fixed without creating friction. We are one team, and you'll succeed by making it stronger. Sound judgment about what to handle yourself, what to route, and what to escalate Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort learning new systems Accounting experience is not required. We train everyone on how our firm works. Schedule Full-time and in-office in Addison, TX.
