The key to success as an Account Manager here is to always be proactive and pay close attention to the details. RST Marketing is a full-service direct mail production facility located in Forest, Virginia. Since 1982, we have produced high quality, highly personalized, multiple match packages for national nonprofit and political clients. Account Management is a vital role at RST. They manage client relationships and oversee client mailings from the beginning stage of quoting to the end stage of invoicing. They must track and supervise each mailing, communicating with the client along the way, to ensure its successful completion.

PERFORMANCE DIMENSIONS AND TASKS

Essential Functions:

Client Services Operate as the lead point of contact for all matters specific to your client set Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships Identify and grow opportunities with your clients Planning and Organizing Keep clients informed and on track for all mailings Work with external vendors and internal departments to ensure the mailing stays on track for scheduled completion date Management Send purchase orders to vendors and confirm art for clients' stock needed delivers on time to meet client's mail date Prepare typesetting requests and data instructions to inform programmers on needed setups and information Manage all setups between programmers and clients Complete job sheets to provide detailed instructions to all production departments on the specifics needed for the successful completion of all clients' mailings Manage all aspects of projects from start to finish

JOBS SPECIFICATIONS

Experience:

Previous customer service experience preferred Previous project or account management experience preferred Previous direct mail marketing experience preferred

Knowledge:

Basic Mathematics Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Internet Basic Computer knowledge
