Duties Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process sales efficiently and securely Provide friendly and professional customer service, addressing inquiries with clear communication and positive attitude Handle cash, credit card transactions, and cash handling procedures with precision and integrity Assist customers with product selections, including conducting product demos when appropriate , knowledge of smoking accessories and tobacco. Upsell relevant items to enhance customer satisfaction and store sales performance Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented Support inventory management through stocking and inventory checks to keep the store organized and inviting Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers via phone or online inquiries Engage in basic retail math to ensure accurate transactions and balance registers at shift end Promote a welcoming environment by practicing effective communication skills and active listening Experience Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment preferred but not required; training provided for motivated candidates Supervising experience is a plus, especially in managing team members or leading customer service initiatives Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is advantageous Bilingual skills are highly valued to serve diverse customer bases effectively Experience conducting product demos or upselling techniques will help boost sales performance Strong communication skills are essential for engaging with customers and team members alike Basic math skills are necessary for accurate cash handling and transaction processing Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering outstanding customer experiences!
