This role handles guest check-ins, reservations, and hotel inquiries while also supporting daily bistro operations, including food preparation, beverage service, and point-of-sale transactions. The ideal candidate is friendly, reliable, and able to multitask in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide outstanding customer service throughout their stay. Manage efficient check-in and check-out procedures and issue room keys. Handle phone calls, guest inquiries, and room reservations. Process billing, credit card payments, cash transactions, and daily cash balancing accurately. Respond promptly to guest requests, concerns, and service recovery opportunities. Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and hotel services. Support hotel operations by assisting other departments as needed. Bistro & Food and Beverage Support Take food and beverage orders and provide friendly service in the bistro and lounge areas. Prepare and serve breakfast, light meals, specialty coffee beverages, and alcoholic beverages in accordance with hotel standards and local regulations. Assist with food preparation, stocking, and replenishing food and beverage items. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all food and beverage service areas. Operate POS systems for food and beverage purchases and reconcile transactions accurately. Monitor inventory levels and notify management of product shortages. Set up, maintain, and break down bistro stations for morning and evening service. Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service guidelines. Qualifications & Skills Previous hotel, hospitality, restaurant, coffee shop, or customer service experience preferred. Experience with POS systems, cash handling, and basic computer applications. Excellent communication and guest service skills. Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays. Bilingual skills are a plus. Food Handler Card required or ability to obtain upon hire. Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification required or ability to obtain upon hire. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
