Job DescriptionPosition Schedule:

Monday - Friday 7:30AM - 4:30 PMMajor Duties and ResponsibilitiesA Brokerage CSR will be expected to ensure timely and accurate operations while providing exceptional customer service within the Brokerage Department.3 to 5 years of Brokerage experience requiredEnsure a smooth and timely customs process flow for all customs related activitiesDaily execution of workflow and department metricsTransfer declaration information from commercial documents, or other sources into our customs entry systemAccurate and timely data entry to allow for the build of a complete US Customs declarationBuild and maintain strong relationships with the customers and government organizationsEnsure compliance to regulations at all times, both internal and externalTrack and Trace shipments for valid data transmission to US customs and Partner Government AgenciesUnderstand customer expectation to ensure all the elements of the SOP and KPI's are metIdentify and manage exceptions while also identifying opportunities for continuous improvementEffectively manage and organize emails for timely follow up

QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:

 3-5 years of Brokerage experience requiredUnderstanding of transportation and US Customs documentationHigh School Degree or equivalent requiredSuccessful candidates must pass a background checkMust be legally authorized to work in the United StatesMust not require future sponsorship for employment visaFluent in English, both written and verbal.

Must have the ability to work overtime in support of the department's needsMust be able to commute to the city of Torrance, CAComfortable with numbers and basic mathematical skillsComfortable working in an office environment 

Desired QualificationsCustomer Service:

6 months to 1 year experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred but not required. We hire for attitude and train for skill.
