Job Overview Pier South Resort, Autograph Collection is seeking a friendly, professional, and service-driven Guest Service Representative to join our Front Office team. As one of the first and last points of contact for our guests, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming and memorable resort experience. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, communicates confidently, and thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Responsibilities Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional service throughout their stay Perform front desk duties, including check-in, check-out, room assignments, and payment processing Assist guests with questions, requests, hotel amenities, and local recommendations Answer and route telephone calls professionally Handle guest concerns and work toward timely and appropriate resolutions Process cash and credit card transactions accurately Promote Marriott Bonvoy enrollment and educate guests on membership benefits Communicate effectively with Housekeeping, Engineering, Valet, and other departments to address guest needs Maintain accurate guest information and documentation in the hotel's systems Assist with reservations, room inquiries, and special requests Follow hotel policies, safety procedures, and Marriott brand standards Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk and lobby environment Qualifications Previous hotel, front desk, or customer service experience preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Professional, friendly, and guest-focused attitude Ability to remain calm and solution-oriented when handling guest concerns Comfortable using computers, phones, and point-of-sale systems Experience with Opera PMS is a plus Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays Reliable attendance and ability to work effectively as part of a team Join the team at Pier South Resort, Autograph Collection , a beachfront resort in Imperial Beach, and help us create memorable experiences through genuine hospitality and exceptional guest service.

Pay:

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 34.0 per week
