Duties include:

• The transportation dispatcher assigns drivers to various shifts, monitors traffic and weather reports. Provide exceptional customer service to clients, drivers and Admin. via phone, and email
• Managing and building schedules. Making schedule changes with Add-ons, and cancellations throughout day. Emailing drivers assigned trips and vehicle placement.
• Answering Client, Broker representative, administration, and Lead Dispatcher inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
• Communication with Lead Dispatcher and Drivers are imperative
• Collaborate with Drivers to ensure customer satisfaction
• Maintain accurate and update information of incidents and any Information passed down thru Lead Dispatcher of changes and new policies. Skills
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong phone etiquette and active listening skills
• Ability to analyze customer needs and provide appropriate solutions
• Proficient in using computers (Transportation Management Software a plus)
