Description A growing manufacturing company in North County is looking for a Customer Service Representative to join its team and serve as a key point of contact for customers from order placement through delivery. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships but also likes the operational side of customer service — entering orders, checking inventory, coordinating with internal departments, and making sure customers know exactly what to expect. The ideal candidate is someone who can move quickly without sacrificing accuracy and is comfortable juggling customer requests, order updates, and internal follow-up throughout the day.

What You'll Do:

+ Serve as a primary point of contact for customers regarding orders and account questions

+ Enter and process customer orders accurately and efficiently

+ Review orders for pricing, quantities, product availability, and requested delivery dates

+ Provide customers with order confirmations, status updates, and shipping information

+ Monitor open orders and proactively communicate delays or changes

+ Coordinate with sales, production, purchasing, and warehouse teams

+ Respond to customer inquiries by phone and email

+ Research order discrepancies and work toward timely resolutions

+ Maintain accurate customer and order information in internal systems

+ Assist with returns, replacements, credits, and product-related questions

+ Follow up on backorders and special requests

+ Maintain detailed notes and documentation on customer interactions

+ Help identify recurring issues and communicate them to management

+ Support additional administrative and customer service projects as needed Requirements + 1-3 years of customer service, order entry, or inside sales support experience

+ Manufacturing, distribution, or product-based business experience preferred

+ Strong communication skills

+ Excellent attention to detail

+ Comfortable working with orders, numbers, product information, and deadlines

+ Strong computer skills and experience with CRM/ERP systems

+ Microsoft Excel experience is a plus

+ Ability to prioritize multiple customer requests

+ Professional and friendly communication style
