$28-$30 per hour + overtime opportunities JC Porter is searching for a Collections & Customer Service Specialist for a growing organization in Golden, CO. This is a strong opportunity for someone who enjoys customer interaction, problem-solving, account follow-up, and working in a fast-paced office environment. This role will focus on contacting customers to resolve outstanding balances, processing payments, researching account discrepancies, and providing a professional customer experience throughout the collections process. Key Responsibilities Contact a high volume of customer accounts to help resolve outstanding balances and bring accounts current Make outbound collection calls while maintaining a professional, customer-service-focused approach Research, explain, and resolve account variances, payment issues, and customer questions Accept and process payments, refunds, and credit memos as needed Follow up on declined or expiring credit cards and collect updated payment information Maintain accurate customer records, account notes, and collection activity documentation Provide responsive and professional support to both internal and external customers Use internal software systems and Excel to update records, track activity, and support account resolution Basic Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or higher 2-3 years of customer service experience in an office environment Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Comfortable working with numbers, account details, and payment information Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Proficient computer skills and demonstrated Excel experience Professional, positive, and customer-focused communication style Previous collections or accounts receivable experience Experience handling high-volume outbound calls Ability to work through sensitive payment conversations with professionalism Detail-oriented, results-driven, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment Proactive approach to resolving issues and supporting customers Why This Role Could Be a Great Fit $28-$30 per hour with overtime opportunities Full benefits package Opportunity to join a stable, growing organization with a strong team environment Great fit for someone who enjoys customer service, collections, and solving account issues If you're a customer-service-focused professional with strong follow-up skills and comfort working with account balances, this could be a strong next step.
