Responsibilities Operate cash registers and POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process retail sales transactions accurately and swiftly Handle cash drawer operations with precision, including cash handling, balancing registers, and running lottery machine Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product inquiries Stock shelves and merchandise displays to ensure the store remains attractive, organized, and fully stocked Maintain phone etiquette when assisting customers via phone or online inquiries, ensuring clear communication Assist with inventory management tasks such as stocking, merchandising, and participating in stock counts Be responsible for opening or closing the store Skills Proven experience with POS systems and cash register operations in a retail or grocery environment Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally Knowledge of retail store product details and merchandising techniques to enhance sales efforts Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, making change, and performing retail math calculations Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries courteously over the phone Join us in creating a lively shopping atmosphere where customers feel valued and appreciated!
