Job description: Flemington Veterinary Hospital is a small-town hospital that takes care of cats and dogs. The perfect candidate will provide a caring, professional bedside manner to our clients and be dedicated to working in a team environment with a positive attitude. The expectations of this position includes providing excellent customer service to our clients with clear and professional communication. These responsibilities include working with other support staff to meet the daily needs of our clients and patients. Duties include answering phones, scheduling appointments, responding to emails and texting services, filing, maintaining medical records, taking payments, responding to client requests, and other clerical duties. You must be a go-getter, ready to put in the work, setting goals, and take pride in your work. The position does involve a fair amount of cleaning, and keeping areas organized. You must be able to handle pressure well and give grace, as often clients are stressed when caring for an ill pet. This includes giving grace to your coworkers, as often their roles can be tested while meeting the needs of others. Adapting to an ever changing environment while multi-tasking are a must!
