Extreme Auto Repair is a family-owned NAPA AutoCare Center that has served Grangeville, Cottonwood, White Bird and the Camas Prairie since 2013. We're known for honest service, fair prices and treating customers like neighbors, because they are. We're looking for a friendly, organized Service Writer to join our front counter. No weekends! What you'll do:

• Greet walk-in customers and answer the phones
• Listen to customers' concerns and write clear, accurate repair orders
• Explain repairs, estimates and options in plain language, and get approval before work begins
• Schedule appointments and keep the shop's workflow moving with our technicians
• Order parts, confirm availability and delivery, and handle returns and warranty parts
• Keep customers updated while their vehicle is in the shop
• Review completed work and invoices with customers, and take payments
• Follow up on recommended or declined services and keep accurate service records What we're looking for:
• A customer-first attitude, plus clear and honest communication
• Strong organization and multitasking skills, with good follow-through
• Comfort with computers. Experience with shop software is a plus.
• Service advisor or customer service experience preferred
• Basic automotive knowledge preferred but not required. We have a structured training plan and will train the right person.
• A dependable, team-oriented person who takes pride in their work What we offer:
• $16 to $25 an hour depending on experience
• Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with weekends off
