This is a full time nonexempt role, with a pay rate starting at $16 per hour. The expected work schedule is normal business hours.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Drive and move customer vehicles safely between the shop bays, the parking lot, and other locations. Run parts pickups and local dealership deliveries to ensure estimators and technicians stay focused on production without delays. Maintain a clean, organized customer waiting area, front desk, and shop lot, while restocking restroom supplies and handling facility upkeep tasks. Serve as the primary first point of contact for body shop customers, managing check-ins, drop-offs, pickups, and welcoming walk-in traffic with a high standard of hospitality. Schedule estimates and repair appointments while coordinating logistics with insurance providers and rental car companies. Answer incoming phone calls, address routine inquiries regarding repair timelines and processes, and route complex estimate or insurance questions to the appropriate estimator. Collect customer payments, process billing paperwork, and maintain accurate records of transaction details. Provide general administrative support, including filing repair documentation and organizing daily paperwork for the team.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Must be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver's license and an insurable driving record. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to handle incoming phone calls, greet walk-in customers warmly, and provide professional customer service. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment that balances front-desk office responsibilities with active, hands-on lot and shop duties.
