In this role, you will be responsible for creating delicious poke bowls that not only meet our high standards of quality but also delight our customers. As a Poke Crafter, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring food safety and preparation standards are upheld in our café environment. Starting at $17 per hour, with a $1 per hour pay raise after completion of training Schedule Weekdays Mon- Fri from 11:00-4:00pm Responsibilities Walk-ins always welcome Takes accurate food orders. Is knowledgeable about food and menu offerings and can provide recommendations based on guest preferences. Always maintains a neat and orderly appearance according to established standards. Excellent interaction and communication skills. Prepare and assemble poke bowls with fresh ingredients according to customer specifications. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and serving areas. Ensure adherence to food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, answering questions, and making recommendations. Operate the POS system efficiently for order processing and payment transactions. Assist with bussing tables and maintaining a tidy dining area. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Experience Familiarity with food safety practices is essential. Basic math skills for handling transactions and portioning ingredients accurately. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members. Experience with upselling techniques is a plus but not required. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are crucial for success in this role.
