We are currently seeking an experienced Sales Coordinator to lead our commercial strategy and expand our market presence. This role plays a key part in revenue growth, customer retention, and aligning sales initiatives with operational excellence across our facility. Customer Service / Sales Coordinator The Customer Service / Sales Associate is a member of the sales department responsible for supporting existing customer relationships, processing customer orders, and developing communication with prospective customers. This position serves as a primary point of contact for customers and helps coordinate information between the sales department and internal teams, including estimating, scheduling, production, quality, and shipping. The role includes answering incoming calls, accurately entering orders, responding to customer questions, and providing updates throughout the ordering process. The Customer Service / Sales Associate also conducts professional outreach to prospective, inactive, and previous customers to introduce Riverfront Stamping's capabilities, establish communication, identify potential opportunities, and support future sales growth.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, First Shift (must be willing to work additional hours as needed) Essential Duties & Responsibilities Answer customer calls and respond to order, delivery, and general account inquiries. Enter, process, and update customer orders accurately and promptly. Communicate order status, lead times, special requests, and potential delays. Coordinate with estimating, scheduling, production, quality, and shipping to obtain customer information. Maintain regular communication with existing customers and identify potential sales opportunities. Contact prospective, inactive, and previous customers to introduce company capabilities and encourage future business. Follow up by phone and email and document customer communications and opportunities. Coordinate quote requests and technical inquiries with appropriate internal personnel. Maintain accurate customer records, contact information, and sales activity documentation. Resolve customer concerns professionally and support timely follow-up. Perform additional customer service and sales support duties as assigned. The pay range listed for this position reflects the base wage and is provided in compliance with Illinois law. Placement within the range is based on experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity. Incentive and bonus eligibility, if applicable, are separate and based on performance and company criteria.

Pay:

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
