Job Description

Join our team at Wines & More in East Walpole. We are hiring a part-time Cashier / Customer Service Rep. You'll help customers, run the register, keep the store stocked and clean, and make local deliveries. We'll train you.
Pay:
$16
  • $17 per hour, plus tips on deliveries Job type:
Part-time Schedule:
Flexibility for some nights, weekends and holidays is required. What you'll do
  • Run the register: ring sales, handle cash, credit and debit cards, and check IDs before every sale
  • Keep your cash drawer accurate and balance it at the end of each shift
  • Greet customers, help them choose products, and learn our wines and spirits so you can make recommendations
  • Handle customer questions and complaints politely and professionally
  • Stock shelves, move cases and do some cleaning (this is a physical job)
  • Make deliveries to customers using your own vehicle (tips on deliveries are yours) Requirements
  • Must be 21 years or older
  • Must have a reliable vehicle, valid driver's license and current registration, and must show proof of insurance. We cannot hire without it.
  • Able to lift and move cases up to 50 lbs
  • Available for some nights, weekends and holidays A plus, but not required
  • Retail, cashier, bartending or restaurant experience; TIPS or alcohol-service certification; familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
Experience is welcome, but we will train the right person.
Pay:
$16.00
