In this energetic role, you will serve as the vital link between our valued clients and our skilled technicians, ensuring vehicle repairs and maintenance are communicated clearly, accurately estimated, and completed efficiently. Your ability to upsell services and provide outstanding customer service will help us deliver top-tier care. Duties Greet customers warmly, listen actively to their vehicle concerns, and accurately document their needs for service. Prepare detailed repair estimates using estimating software, ensuring transparency and clarity for clients. Communicate effectively with technicians regarding diagnostics, repairs needed, and estimated timeframes. Upsell additional services such as oil changes, tire services, brake repairs, alignments, suspension work, and more to maximize customer satisfaction and shop productivity. Manage the service write-up process from initial inspection to final billing, including cash handling and payment processing. Maintain thorough records of all vehicle repairs, diagnostics, and client interactions for future reference. Collaborate with the sales team on automobile sales opportunities and promote dealership services to enhance revenue streams. Qualifications Proven experience in dealership or automotive service environments as a Service Advisor or Service Writer. Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in automotive diagnostics, transmissions, diesel engines, collision repair, air brakes, shocks & struts, and other vehicle systems. Proficiency with estimating software and computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly and professionally. Experience in auto service management or service technician roles is highly desirable. Knowledge of automotive repair procedures including oil changes, tire services, brake repairs, alignments, suspension work, and diesel engine repairs. Ability to upsell services confidently while maintaining integrity and customer trust.

Pay:

$18.00 - $25.00 per hour
