Job Overview Wheelhouse Pix is looking for a dependable, organized, and personable Seasonal Customer Service & Photo Packaging Associate to support our team during our busy fall school photography season. This is a hybrid position with time split between customer service and school photo packaging/fulfillment based on daily business needs. Some days may be primarily focused on helping parents with questions about their photo orders, while other days may involve sorting, packaging, and preparing school photo orders for delivery. We are looking for someone who communicates professionally, pays close attention to detail, is comfortable working on a computer, and is willing to jump in wherever help is needed. Customer Service Responsibilities Respond to customer questions by email and through our customer support system Assist parents with questions regarding: Online ordering Gallery access and photo codes Order status Shipping and delivery Digital downloads Missing, damaged, or incorrect orders Research customer orders and provide clear, accurate information Resolve routine customer service issues and escalate more complex situations when necessary Maintain a professional, friendly, and helpful tone when communicating with customers Accurately document customer interactions and follow-ups Photo Packaging & Fulfillment Responsibilities Package individual student photo orders accurately and efficiently Sort and organize photo products by student, classroom, school, or job Match printed photos and products with the correct customer orders Perform basic quality-control checks Prepare completed orders for shipment or delivery to schools Label, organize, and stage packaged orders Maintain a clean and organized work area Assist the production team with other fulfillment tasks as needed What We're Looking For Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Dependable, punctual, and organized Comfortable using computers and learning new software Able to communicate professionally with customers Strong problem-solving skills and good judgment Able to work independently while also contributing to a team Comfortable switching between customer service and hands-on packaging work depending on daily needs Able to stay productive in a fast-paced seasonal environment Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed Previous experience in customer service, administrative support, order fulfillment, packaging, e-commerce, retail, or school photography is helpful but not required. Schedule This is a seasonal, part-time position averaging approximately 20-30 hours per week . Hours will be split between customer service and photo packaging depending on workload. Because our needs can change throughout the season, applicants should be comfortable moving between both areas of the position. This position is performed in person at our Bloomfield Hills, Michigan office . About Wheelhouse Pix Wheelhouse Pix is a growing school photography company providing Picture Day photography and photo products to schools and families. During our busy fall season, our customer service and production teams work closely together to ensure families receive their orders accurately and have a positive experience from Picture Day through delivery.

Pay:

$18.00 - $21.00 per hour
